Le Petit George was created as a tribute to the beloved French neighbourhood bistro — where good food, great wine and even better company come together effortlessly. Small in size but rich in atmosphere, it captures that unmistakable joie de vivre.
The indoor-outdoor space is airy and full of character: lush plants, mirrors, signature subway tiles and marble surfaces. Thonet chairs line the tables, handwritten menu boards announce daily specials, and the glasshouse glows with natural light. Whether relaxing in the conservatory, settling into a cosy bar corner or dining al fresco, this is a warm, unpretentious place where neighbours — and soon-to-be-regulars — gather to share stories over a good meal.

Exclusive hire may be possible depending on the day and group size. It’s a beautiful setting for intimate events with a French twist — think long tables, candlelight and plenty of wine.

Depending on the setup, we can host up to 60 guests seated and up to 100 guests standing. The layout’s flexible, so there’s always room for one more toast.

Yes. Several dishes across the menu are vegetarian-friendly, and the kitchen is happy to accommodate dietary requirements when informed in advance.

Getting to Le Petit George is easy, whatever your route. Take tram 2 to Cornelis Schuytstraat — from there it’s just a 2-minute walk. Prefer to drive?
Park at Q-Park Museumplein (Van Baerlestraat 33B) and enjoy a short 13-minute stroll to the restaurant.
